AG Rugby Pre-Season Begins
Players arrived at the AG Rugby HQ for an early morning team chat and playbook download session before some skill work led by assistant coach and Wallabies legend, Mark Gerrard.
The AGs have cleared preliminary COVID-19 screening and today begin their first in-person install phases. Over the next few days, the squad will begin to familiarize themselves with their new play calls while also synchronizing themselves with one another.
“We’re pleased the boys did their homework on the lingo during the off-season, but applying it on the training ground is what we’ll test them on straight away,” says Mark Gerrard.
With only 41 days remaining until the opening kickoff of the 2021 MLR season, the AGs must gel quickly.
