AG’s Prepare For Home Bout With MLR’s Best
The AG’s now sit two points out of playoff contention ahead of Sunday’s home clash with the lone undefeated team in Major League Rugby, the San Diego Legion.
“[San Diego] are atop the ladder for a reason,” said Byrne. “They’ve got strong runners and playmakers that can move the ball around the park, so defensively we’ll need to be in our spots early and ready to defend our territory like we did in Houston.”
Saturday’s match against the Legion will be the AG’s first match back in Bold Stadium since their Week 3 tie with the 3rd place Warriors.
More good news, four ailing Gilgronis are make positive steps toward return to action.
