Prior to his play with the Uruguayan national side, Echeverria played with La Olla Rugby Club in Florida, Uruguay. He then went on to play for Old Christians where he was a key component in the teams 3 Uruguayan Champion wins in 2015, 2016, and 2017. It’s beautiful to see how you accomplish different stages throughout your career, and this is a very important stage in mine. I’ve been slowly adjusting to the idea of playing overseas and I know this is going to be a great experience.” – Juan Echeverria
